Thoughtfully Taking Shape
Monja Blanca Pilates is being developed by a mother and her daughters as a family-owned business. We are currently focused on the work that comes before opening: listening to prospective clients, studying the local market, refining our services, and creating a studio model that is both welcoming and sustainable.
We are sharing the project at this early stage because community input should help shape important decisions—including class formats, schedules, accessibility, and the overall studio experience.

Why Monja Blanca?
(pronounced MOHN-hah BLAHN-kah)
The j sounds like an English h, and the emphasis falls on MOHN and BLAHN.
Monja Blanca, Guatemala’s national flower, was chosen as a meaningful connection to our family’s Guatemalan roots. Known for its quiet beauty and resilience, the name reflects the kind of Pilates experience we hope to create: grounded, intentional, and centered on lasting strength.
Our heritage inspired the name, but the studio is being designed for the broader community—a welcoming place where people of different ages, backgrounds, and experience levels can move with confidence and feel supported in their progress.
Help Us Shape Monja Blanca Pilates
We want to create a studio that reflects what the community actually needs. Share your preferences to help inform decisions about classes, schedules, pricing, and the overall studio experience. This survey should take approximately two minutes.
